I know this feeling, you’ve got the results, had the confirmation letter, and waited for what feels more like a lifetime then an extended summer break, but now it is finally time to move away from home and begin your life as a University Student.

It’s a strange concoction of nervousness and excitement that swell in your stomach, creating a sensation similar to that you get just before stepping onto a roller-coaster. There may well be a number of questions running through your head, just as there were going through mine, but if you find yourself worrying then have no fear! I shall try to put these anxieties to rest, drawing from the experiences I have had during my 3-years immersed in student life.

I am studying History and International Relations (joint honours) at Oxford Brookes University.
